Fields

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultAllowed valuesDescription
skyColorstringnoHex colour of a "kind": "color" sky, and read by nothing else: a scene whose sky is procedural or hdr, or that has no sky, ignores it and the contract reports sky-color-ignored. A color sky without it is black.
envMapstringnoDeprecated: the pre-D7 spelling of sky.asset. Still read, and still exported, so no scene needs migrating. When both are present and name different assets, sky.asset wins and the contract reports sky-envmap-conflict.
ambientnumberyes
skySceneSkynoThe sky and the image-based light it casts. Absent means the default procedural clear-noon sky, and ambient then keeps its pre-D7 meaning of a flat fill added on top of it. See docs/SKY.md.
fogSceneFognoDistance fog. Absent: none, unless an atmosphere sky.preset supplies one. Drawn by the standard renderer; see docs/SKY.md, Fog.
oceanSceneOceannoThe scene's sea. Absent: no sea. Present turns it on, and lets buoyancy bodies float. docs/status/hd-water-physics-design.md.
giSceneGinoGlobal controls of HD's ray-traced GI. Absent: all at 1.
airSceneAirnoThe scene's air: density and wind. Present, buoyancy bodies out of the water are buoyed by the air and dragged against the wind (a gas envelope floats). Absent: no air forces.
