Fields

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultAllowed valuesDescription
torqueCurveVehicleTorquePoint[]noCrankshaft torque against engine speed, as [rpm, N·m] points, non-empty and strictly increasing in rpm. Linearly interpolated, clamped outside the range. An override REPLACES this array whole; there is no element-wise merge.
idleRpmnumbernoEngine speed the solver holds at with no throttle and the clutch open, in rpm. Greater than zero and less than redlineRpm.
redlineRpmnumbernoEngine speed at which torque is cut and an automatic gearbox shifts up, in rpm. Greater than idleRpm.
inertianumbernoRotating inertia of the crankshaft and flywheel in kg·m², greater than zero. It sets how fast the engine picks up when the clutch is open — small is a revvy engine, large is a diesel that takes its time.
