## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Allowed values | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| `kind` | `BlendKind` | yes | | `linear`, `cartesian` | |
| `parameters` | `string[]` | yes | | | The parameters this tree reads, one per axis, each declared in the animator's `parameters`. One name for `linear`, two for `cartesian`. |
| `points` | `BlendPoint[]` | yes | | | |
| `strideMatch` | `boolean` | no | | | Stride matching, on a `linear` tree: the tree reads its parameter as the character's ground speed in m/s and plays at the rate that makes its clips cover exactly that, measured from each clip's own feet (or root travel) at load, so the planted foot does not slide at any speed. The points' own `speed` is then not read. Absent, it is on for a `linear` tree on a state without `rootMotion` or `speedParam`, whose parameter is bound to `speed` or `inputSpeed` and whose points give no `speed`; `false` turns it off. `true` on a `cartesian` tree is `animator-speed-invalid`: its two parameters are directions, not a speed. |
