# shader-param-invalid

> Talos next · Since 0.6; changed in 0.7

A `param` or `instance` header line that cannot be built: a name that is not camelCase or is declared twice, an unknown type, a default of the wrong type, a `[min, max]` that is backwards or on a `bool`, a default outside it, more than 256 B of params, or more than 4 instance floats. Also a material `params` value of the wrong type for the shader's param.
